Category 01
Getting started
What Lukrena is, how access works and what to prepare before the first webinar.
What is Lukrena?
Lukrena is a Polish platform for live webinars and auto webinars that runs in the browser. One tool handles the sign-up page, reminder emails, the camera and screen broadcast, chat, an offer with a countdown and payments through Stripe. Viewer data, watch tracking and email sequences stay in one panel, without stitching several services together.
What is the difference between a live webinar and an auto webinar?
A live webinar is a broadcast at one time for everyone who signed up, while an auto webinar (also called an automated or evergreen webinar) is a recording that plays like a broadcast, where every viewer gets their own session from a schedule. In an auto webinar the chat replays saved comments, the offer appears at the same second of the recording and seeking is blocked. For the viewer, both formats look the same: the same room, the same chat, the same offer.
Do I need to install streaming software?
Lukrena doesn't need OBS or any other streaming software - camera, microphone and screen sharing work in the browser. The host opens the Studio, picks a video layout and clicks start. Viewers also just open a link, with no installation and no account.
Does Lukrena stream and host the video itself?
No. Lukrena is not a video host: each client connects their own Cloudflare Stream or Bunny account, and broadcasts and recordings run on that account. The footage and the transfer bill stay on the client's side, so leaving the platform doesn't take the recordings with it. Lukrena's server only keeps a temporary backup of a broadcast, used to assemble the replay. Every viewer enters the room through their own personal link tied to their sign-up.
How do I create a Lukrena account?
Lukrena is in closed beta and accounts are created by invitation only - there is no self-service sign-up on the website. The Lukrena team sets up access after you get in touch and describe the webinars you plan to run. Once the account exists, the free plan lets you go through a complete webinar flow before choosing a paid plan.
What needs to be set up before the first webinar?
Three account settings, entered once for all webinars: a connected video account, an email sender, and your brand with a logo and colours. Without a video account nothing can be recorded or played, and without a sender no email goes out. After that, a step bar guides you through building the webinar: recording, sessions, sign-up page, offer and script, with status dots showing what is already done.
Category 02
Live webinars
The in-browser Studio, equipment failures, chat, and the plan that includes broadcasting.
What does running a live webinar look like?
You run it from the Studio in your browser: camera preview, screen sharing with cropping, switching between six video layouts, viewer chat and the button to publish the offer, all on one screen. The control panel isn't a separate tab - it sits next to the video preview. The broadcast goes through Cloudflare Stream, so the video doesn't load the host's computer beyond the encoding itself.
What happens if the microphone or the internet fails during a broadcast?
The microphone runs as an independent track, so switching cameras doesn't kill the sound, and after a device is disconnected the track recovers by itself. The audio guard shows an alert when the microphone stops picking up a signal or when silence lasts more than 10 seconds. If the connection drops, the broadcast resumes in the same room, and a backup of the recording is uploaded every 15 seconds, so the replay material is not lost.
What do viewers see when the screen is shared?
Only the part the host approves. You can share the whole screen, a single app window or a browser tab, and until the choice is confirmed the desktop, file names and notifications stay off the broadcast. The picture can also be cropped to a region, so viewers see only the presentation.
Can the live chat be moderated?
The chat supports hiding messages with the option to restore them, and removing a viewer, whose link then stops working. For questions, an AI reply suggestion appears, but sending it always takes a click from the host - nothing goes to the chat by itself. There are also prepared comments you can post with one click.
Are live webinars included in every plan?
No. Live webinars from the Studio are part of the Whole offer plan at PLN 299 net/month, together with broadcast replays as material for auto webinars. The Trial and One webinar plans cover auto webinars, and on the One webinar plan the Studio is used to record material with a camera and a presentation.
Category 03
Auto webinars
A recording that plays like a broadcast: sessions, viewer questions, returning viewers and polls.
How does an auto webinar work?
An auto webinar plays a recording like a broadcast: the viewer signs up, picks a session from the schedule and at that time enters a room where the recording is already running. Time is calculated on the server, not from the browser clock, so changing the system clock doesn't unlock content. Seeking is blocked, and the chat shows saved comments at the same seconds of the recording.
Where do auto webinar sessions come from?
Sessions are built from four independent blocks that can run together: fixed times on selected weekdays, a session every X minutes within a time window, the next session with a lead time, and instant access right after sign-up. On top of that there are blocked dates, a campaign period and a seat limit per session. Times are shown in the viewer's time zone, not the host's.
Can viewers ask questions if it's a recording?
A question written in the auto webinar chat goes to the host's phone through a Telegram bot, and a reply sent from the panel or directly from Telegram lands in that viewer's chat without a page refresh. This also works when the reply comes a few hours after the session. Recurring questions are handled by the auto-moderator from a bank of approved answers.
What does a viewer see after closing the window and coming back later?
Playback resumes from the saved minute, not from the start - the position is saved every 15 seconds, when the tab is closed and in a local copy, and the highest of those three values is used. The viewer sees a message explaining that they are picking up where they left off. Tabs left open overnight are cut off: after a break of more than five minutes the watch time counter starts from zero.
Can a live webinar recording be reused as an auto webinar?
Yes. Both modes run on one account, and a broadcast recording can become the material for an auto webinar. The chat script and the moment the offer appears are set separately for the auto webinar, because live chat comments are not carried over into the script. The replay can have subtitles generated from the recording's transcript, currently in Polish only.
Can an auto webinar include a poll?
Yes. A poll is one of the script events and appears at a chosen second of the recording, alongside comments and the offer. Viewers vote in the room, and the results in percent are shown both to them and to the host in the panel. Live webinars have no polls; there the chat is the way to check the room.
Can one sign-up cover a series of sessions?
No. One sign-up applies to one webinar, and Lukrena doesn't support multi-day series from a single form. A series of meetings needs a separate webinar and a separate sign-up for each meeting.
Category 04
Emails & SMS
Reminders, post-webinar sequences, deliverability and email tools.
Which emails does Lukrena send around a webinar?
Lukrena sends a sign-up confirmation with the room link, reminders before the session and a post-webinar sequence. The sequence splits recipients by behaviour: didn't attend, watched briefly, watched and didn't buy, bought - and each group gets different content. Sender name, reply-to address and signature are set in the panel, so emails go out under the host's name.
Who writes the email content, and what about grammatical gender?
AI writes the content based on the offer brief and the sequence stage, and you can edit it freely afterwards. Polish emails are inflected by grammatical gender, with a gender-neutral form required for unrecognised names; gender is used only for inflection and never for segmentation. The panel scans every step of the sequence and flags awkward slash forms (such as "sam/a") for rewriting.
Can I set my own send date for an email?
Every step of the sequence has a date field that takes priority over the countdown from the webinar. Sending respects quiet hours between 23:00 and 8:00 in each viewer's own time zone. Emails and SMS are shown on one timeline, because for the recipient it's one stream of messages.
How does Lukrena handle deliverability?
Emails are sent from an authenticated domain with a DKIM signature, an SPF record and a DMARC policy, and each one includes the one-click unsubscribe header required by Gmail and Yahoo. Unsubscribing is safe from email scanners: simply opening the link doesn't unsubscribe, a button confirmation is needed, and a spam report automatically unsubscribes the recipient from all communication. The panel shows the open rate with a caveat that Apple Mail privacy protection inflates opens, so clicks are the harder metric.
Does Lukrena send SMS reminders?
Yes. An SMS reminds people about the start, for example 15, 30 or 60 minutes beforehand, and sits on the same timeline as the emails. It only goes to people who provided their number themselves and respects quiet hours in the viewer's time zone. Polish messages are sent without diacritics, because that fits 160 characters into one SMS instead of 70, and separate SMS campaigns can target a chosen segment of registrants.
Does Lukrena work with GetResponse, MailerLite or ActiveCampaign?
Yes. Registrants are passed to the chosen tool according to rules tied to six funnel events: sign-up, attendance, reaching the offer, clicking the offer, purchase and no-show. A failed transfer is retried at growing intervals, so a temporary outage doesn't lose contacts. With a tool connected, it's worth checking that its automations don't send the same reminders a second time.

Payments & offers
Stripe on the client's own account, the offer with a countdown and selling through your own shop.
How do payments for products sold during a webinar work?
Payments go through Stripe connected to the host's account, so the money goes directly to their account. Lukrena takes no commission on sales and stores only the Stripe account ID, never keys or card details. The purchase is recorded in the panel through the Stripe webhook right after payment, even if the viewer closes the tab.
Does Lukrena take a commission on sales?
No, Lukrena's commission on sales is 0%. Payments run through Stripe Connect: the viewer pays straight into the seller's Stripe account, and the money never passes through Lukrena, which holds no funds and doesn't handle refunds. Stripe charges its own processing fees according to its pricing.
How does the offer with a seat counter and countdown work?
The offer is a card built into the lower strip of the video, which the host shows and hides from the panel as many times as needed. The seat counter can be changed during the broadcast and turns red at three or fewer. The countdown runs from the first time the offer is shown, so a viewer returning to the room doesn't get a fresh deadline.
Can the offer link to my own shop instead of Stripe?
Yes. The offer button can point to any address, such as an existing shop, and one webinar can have several offers. With your own shop, the purchase has to be reported back through the API so buyers don't receive closing sales emails. With a product from the Stripe account connected in settings, Lukrena assigns the purchase to the viewer by itself, which feeds email segmentation and sales statistics.
Category 06
Video & streaming
The client's video account, audience size and playback problems.
Where does Lukrena's video infrastructure come from?
Video lives on the client's own Cloudflare Stream or Bunny account - the client provides the access details for their account. Live broadcasts run on Cloudflare, while Bunny plays recordings with much cheaper transfer, so both accounts can be connected at the same time. The transfer bill goes directly to the provider, and the panel compares the Bunny and Cloudflare cost before you publish.
How many concurrent viewers can a webinar handle?
The largest tested webinar had 1,500 concurrent viewers on a cluster, with about 10% of requests timing out at the sign-up peak. The video itself scales through the video provider's network, so the bottleneck is the chat and sign-ups, not the broadcast. Before an event with more than 500 people, let the Lukrena team know so the server configuration can be checked.
What if a viewer can't see the video?
The viewer room gets a fresh session by itself after eight seconds of frozen video, so a page refresh is usually not needed. On corporate networks that block WebRTC, the player switches to fallback mode. Sound takes one click, because browsers mute autoplay - the choice is remembered for next time.
Can a full storage quota on the video account affect a broadcast?
Yes. A full storage quota on the video account blocks a live broadcast from starting, even when the transfer limit is untouched. Old recordings are best deleted before a big webinar rather than during it, and the connection is worth checking with a short test recording the day before, not at start time.

Data, security & GDPR
Who is responsible for the data, what is measured, export, keys and logging in.
Who is the controller of viewer data?
The controller of viewers' personal data is the owner of the account running the webinar, and Lukrena processes it on their behalf. The client's privacy policy and terms are shown under the sign-up form, and the consent text is editable - if the client's documents are missing, we don't substitute our own, because that would be misleading. An individual's data is deleted on request, together with their purchases, messages and sessions.
What viewing data does Lukrena collect?
Lukrena records attendance in the room to the minute, entry and exit times, chat messages and offer clicks - this data drives email segmentation. Whether a viewer reached the offer is verified by the server, which compares the playback position with the second the offer was shown, instead of trusting the browser. Events can be sent to the Meta Pixel and to GetResponse, MailerLite or ActiveCampaign.
Can someone join a webinar with another person's link?
The room link is personal and tied to the sign-up, but if it's passed on it will let other people in - Lukrena limits abuse with per-minute and per-hour entry limits and flags in the panel when a link is circulating beyond its owner. For webinars with a closed audience, a password-protected room helps. Signing up again with an existing email doesn't show the link on screen; it sends it to that inbox instead.
Can registrant data be exported?
Yes. The Contacts tab gathers everyone on the account with their history: sign-ups, watch time, questions and purchases. The CSV export is prepared for Polish spreadsheets, with a semicolon separator, an encoding marker and a decimal comma. A webinar's registrant list is paginated at 100 rows, without filters or search by name.
Which model powers the AI features, and where does the key go?
AI features such as the email generator, the script comment generator and reply suggestions in the chat run on Anthropic's Claude models. Your own Anthropic API key is entered in the account settings and stored in the database in encrypted form. AI-generated content can always be edited, and in the live chat a suggestion only goes out after the host clicks.
Does the account have two-factor authentication?
Not yet. The password is changed from the panel after logging in, and regaining access without the password requires contacting the Lukrena team. Keys for external services, including Cloudflare, Bunny, SendGrid and Anthropic, are stored in encrypted form.

Pricing & account
Plans, limits, changing plans and costs on top of the subscription.
How much does Lukrena cost?
Lukrena has three plans: a free plan at PLN 0, a plan at PLN 199 net/month and a plan at PLN 299 net/month. VAT is added to the net amounts at the applicable rate. The free plan lets you go through a complete webinar flow, from the sign-up page to the offer, with lower limits.
How do the plans differ?
The plans differ in the number of auto webinars running at once, the monthly email limit, the number of AI auto-moderator replies and the number of contacts. Trial (PLN 0): 1 auto webinar, 200 emails, 100 AI replies and 500 contacts. One webinar (PLN 199 net): 3 auto webinars, 20,000 emails, 3,000 AI replies and 20,000 contacts. Whole offer (PLN 299 net): 20 auto webinars, 100,000 emails, 30,000 AI replies, 100,000 contacts and live webinars from the Studio.
Are there any costs on top of the subscription?
The subscription doesn't cover video provider costs: Cloudflare Stream or Bunny bill storage and delivery separately. As a rough guide, a thousand viewers for an hour is about 900 GB of transfer, which is a few dollars at Bunny and around ninety at Cloudflare. Stripe fees on sales also go directly to Stripe.
What happens when the monthly email limit runs out?
Sending pauses until the end of the month, and limit usage is visible in the panel, in the webinar's Results. A higher limit can be arranged individually by writing to [email protected].
Can the plan be changed mid-cycle?
Yes, at any time. Moving up to a higher plan means paying the difference for the remaining days, while moving down takes effect from the next month.
